Position Title: Youth & Disabled Programs Assistant

This is a 13 week, full time, summer position, that is dependent on funding from the Federal Government and the Canada Summer Jobs Program.

Reports to: Cycling BC Director of Finance & Admin and Cycling BC Chief Executive Officer

Description: Cycling BC is seeking an energetic and organized individual to deliver excellence in program service to our riders, clubs, race organizers and other stakeholders. The position has a range of responsibilities which include:

*Assisting with Program Delivery of Youth, Disabled and Women’s Riding Programs
*Assisting with Program Delivery of Learn to Ride and Learn to Race Programs to Youth in Lower Mainland Schools
*Coordinating Race Kit pickup by Youth, Disabled and Women and Local Club Event Organizers pre and post event
*Posting Event Results to Cycling BC website
*Assisting with pre and post event E-newsletters, Twitters, and Facebook articles
*Assisting with any environmental campaigns

NOTE#1: Applicants must be between the ages of 15 and 30, a Canadian resident, and have been registered as a full-time student in the previous academic year and intend to return to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year.  Preference given to students with a Recreation and/or Marketing background.
