Coaches & Instructors provide the support, knowledge, and encouragement necessary for cycling participants to achieve their full potential. Also, Cycling Instructors are important to expanding efforts to develop interest and participation in Cycling within the community.
One of Cycling BC’s key missions is to provide development opportunities for Cycling Coaches and Learn to Ride / Race Instructors. To fill this need, Cycling BC offers education and training courses aimed at supporting leaders who are teaching the sport in specific domains of the cycling population. We have programs within the Cycling NCCP pathway leading to status as Trained or Certified Coach in instructional or competitive contex.
