The second stop of the BMX Canada Cup tour was in Abbotsford June 27 & 28th. BC athletes were ready to take charge on their home training track. Beautiful weather promised some great racing. The Cycling BC High Performance team took the top spot in the Junior Devo Men, Junior Men and Elite Men both days! The Junior and Elite Men’s classes were combined and first year junior Alex Tougas took a strong 3rd place in the combined class, with some heavy Elites.
It was a great experience racing Canada’s best elites and getting some more experience on the big hill.

Aiden Webber and Ben Leslie battled all weekend ahead of the Junior Devo class. All the BC athletes looked solid and are ready for this weekends National Championships in Drummondville, Quebec.
