A criminal record check is required to register as a Cycling BC coach. YOU HAVE 3 CHOICES: OPTION 1) Email a scanned copy of a record check or letter of evidence (from your employer) that is less than 2 years old. Email to [email protected]
OPTION 2) Go to your local RCMP to process a screening ($0-$60) and email the scanned copy within 30 days. OPTION 3) Purchase an online screening ($50) whereby Cycling BC will send you a SterlingBackcheck form via email to complete. This is the fastest and most efficient choice. Go to cyclingbc.net/coachreg and select from "services". ***Special Exceptions***Successful iRide grant recipients over the age of 19 can choose any of the above options, and can access option 3 free of charge. iRide grant recipients between the ages of 16-19 do not need to complete this step.
