The module includes a 2-hour education call via Zoom and concludes with a 3-hour outdoor skills session and practice ride. To achieve certification\, submit your journal and Emergency Action Plan within seven days of our practice ride. \nTopics covered: \n\nClub Culture & Why Statements\nRide Leader Responsibilities (Route Plan\, Pre-Ride Briefing)\nEmergencies (Stoplight Method + What IFs)\nSafety and Hazards (Road & Trail)\nCommunication (Signals\, Etiquette\, Formations)\nOutdoor Practice Ride (Everyone gets a chance to lead)\n\nSchedule: \nApril 9 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm (Education Call via Zoom)\nApril 11 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (Outdoor Ride @ Sanctuary Cafe – Richmond) \nNext Steps: \nRegister and use the Ride Leader Journal to complete the pre-reading. \nUpload our route map to your bike computer: Route Maps \nSubmit your Ride Leader Journal to edcuation@cyclingbc.net within seven days of the outdoor ride. \nUpon review\, we’ll send you a congratulatory email and invite you to convert to a UCI Technical License: Ride Leader.
