To achieve certification\, submit your journal and Emergency Action Plan within seven days of our practice ride. \nTopics covered: \n\nClub Culture & Why Statements\nRide Leader Responsibilities (Route Plan\, Pre-Ride Briefing)\nEmergencies (Stoplight Method + What IFs)\nSafety and Hazards (Road & Trail)\nCommunication (Signals\, Etiquette\, Formations)\nOutdoor Practice Ride (Everyone gets a chance to lead)\n\nSchedule: \nApril 30 (Education Call via Zoom)\nMay 2 (Outdoor Ride\, meet @ Glenmore Elementary School) \nNext Steps: \nRegister and use the Ride Leader Journal to complete the pre-reading. \nUpload our route map to your bike computer: Route Maps \nSubmit your Ride Leader Journal to edcuation@cyclingbc.net within seven days of the outdoor ride. \nUpon review\, we’ll send you a congratulatory email and invite you to convert to a UCI Technical License: Ride Leader.
