DESCRIPTION:This September 12-13th Anything Goes Event Series embraces its mountain bike roots\, bringing you our newest event Steep n’ Deep XC at the legendary Fernie Alpine Resort. \nSteep n’ Deep XC showcases a new age of mountain bike racing featuring a 35km cross country style course with 4 unique timed stages around the Resort that will count towards riders overall time. Riders will experience the many phases of mountain biking from hootin’ & hollerin’ on burly descents to feeling the burn up the steep climbs and socializing with your pals during the transfers. DESCRIPTION:This event has been CANCELLED for 2025 | For more information\, please visit the event website at https://tripleshotcrossfondo.ca/ \n\nVictoria’s ONLY mass participation off-road cycling event winds through flowy pine-needle trails and hairpin turns\, over hills\, roots and rocks\, past curious donkeys and horses\, and churns through chunky peanut butter mud and puddles. Oh\, and maybe a few hike-a-bike sections to keep it legit. \nFeatures some public trails and private property that owners are opening up for this one day. \nA fundraiser for the Tripleshot Cycling Club youth cycling program\, this event supports the development of year-round training for 10-18 year olds who train hard and love to compete in cross\, road\, track and mountain bike at local\, provincial\, national and international levels. \nA portion of the proceeds also funds the maintenance and development of trails through various community organizations. \nWe respectfully enjoy\, as visitors\, the traditional territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ (Saanich) and lək̓ʷəŋən (Songhees) peoples of the Coast Salish Nation. Oh\, and maybe a few hike-a-bike sections to keep it legit. \nFeaturing: The Highlands. Hartland Mountain Bike Park. Vancouver Island Tech Park. Francis King & Thetis Lake Regional Parks. Private property that owners are opening up for this one day. \nWorried about how much energy you’ll expend? We’ll keep you fuelled along the route!
