DESCRIPTION:The 2025 BC Provincial Downhill (DH) Championships will be hosted in combination with the Big White BC Cup race on Sunday\, August 24\, 2025. \nJoin us at @bikebigwhite for the Big White BC Cup  & BC Provincial Downhill Championships\, taking place from August 22nd to August 24th and end the season by taking on our bone-rattling Catapult Ranch race course. The race will feature all standard BC Cup categories\, including unlicensed ‘open’ and non-championship categories. All racers welcome – see you out there. \nTo qualify for a provincial championship\, riders must have either a BC Provincial Race licence or a UCI Race licence and must be a resident of BC. Get your 2025 Cycling BC licence today. \nPlease review the Event Technical Guide before registering. \nRegister by August 20th at 11:59 a.m. All registrations must be completed online. DESCRIPTION:Downhill racing returns to Mount Prevost for the first time in over a decade! On October 25\, 2025\, riders will tackle a full lap of Mr. T—one of Stevie Smith’s legendary favourite trails. This marks a historic moment in BC racing\, bringing back high-speed action to one of the province’s most iconic downhill venues. \nPlease review the Event Technical Guide before registering (v.2025.10.14). Please register before October 22nd at 11:59 a.m. All registrations must occur online\, and no late registrations will be accepted. \nVolunteers Wanted \nHelp us make history at the return of DH racing on Mount Prevost. Volunteers—especially course marshals—are crucial to rider safety and the success of the event. Positioned on the mountain\, you’ll have a front-row seat to all the action. \n\nSanctioning\n\nCycling BC sanctions this event as an A-Level Competition. As a result\, all participants must hold a Cycling BC membership or complete the necessary online forms before participating. In case of an accident\, report all accidents to Cycling BC at cyclingbc.net/accident.
