Once you are registered\, Cycles West will be notified to check your bike and will inform us when your bike passes inspection. \nBike checks and tune-ups are covered by the Spotlight Grant\, up to $200/bike. \nRiders are responsible for: \n\nrepairs over $200 (including the bike check and tune-up)\nany required replacement parts\nupgrades or purchases over the $200 combined total\n\nThe women using rental bikes will have the first two sessions covered by the Spotlight grant. If rentals are still needed\, the rider needs to arrange and cover the cost themselves with the Trek store ($25/ day). \nThis program has been sanction by Cycling BC. The $30 registration fee must be paid to Cycling BC before Sunday April 5th to complete registration in the Cycling Nisa program. Please follow this link to make the payment: \nApril 12th and 19th classroom sessions require: \n\ncomfortable clothes\nSomething to sit on (blanket\, yoga mat)\nHelmet needed in the April 19th session\nNo bikes for these classroom sessions\n\nOn-the bike sessions will take place on the bike trails in the vicinity of the Trek store. \nParticipants are expected to take part in all six sessions.

SUMMARY:Tripleshot Women's Skill Clinics: Spring 2026
DESCRIPTION:Now celebrating our 14th year\, the Tripleshot Women’s Cycling Clinics are designed by women\, for women in Victoria\, BC. Whether you’re just starting and want to learn how to ride safely in a group\, or you already ride comfortably and want to get faster and more skilled\, this clinic is for you. \nClinic Dates: \nApril 14 – June 2\, 2026\nEight Tuesday evenings\, 6:00–7:30 pm \nWhat to Expect: \nSession 1 (off-bike): Meet your coaches and fellow riders\, and learn basic bike maintenance.\nSessions 2-6 (on-bike): Skills practice at various locations around Victoria\, including Beacon Hill Park\, and longer group rides chosen by the coaches. Clinics run rain or shine (only extreme weather cancels). \nYou’ll be placed in a group based on your comfort level and skills\, and adjustments can be made after the first week. Some groups focus on building confidence and safety; others focus on technique\, speed\, and efficiency for more advanced riding. \n\nSkills You’ll Learn: \n\nSafe group riding (drafting\, pacelines\, communication)\nBike handling and cornering\nClimbing and descending\nSafety drills and team time trial practice\nBasic maintenance (fixing flats\, keeping your bike running smoothly)\nFun\, supportive group rides\n\n\nBike Requirements: \nTo keep everyone safe\, you’ll need a road or cyclocross bike with drop handlebars \n\nNo e-bikes or flat-bar bikes are allowed.\nIf you’re unsure\, email a photo of your bike to tripleshotclinic@gmail.com.\n\n\nCommunity & Wrap-Up: \nThe clinic ends with a celebration ride and social\, hosted by Broad Street Cycles\, including food and drinks.
