Starting and finishing in downtown Prince George at Canada Games Plaza\, the ride offers full support with course marshals\, aid stations\, and support vehicles for a safe and enjoyable experience. \nAfter the ride\, unwind at our lively after-party\, featuring food trucks\, local vendors\, and a vibrant community atmosphere. \nWhether you’re a seasoned cyclist or a first-time rider\, come Crush It in the heart of Northern BC and make memories that will last a lifetime. \n width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" data-mce-fragment="1"> \nFor event details and to register\, visit https://www.krisyipmemorialfondo.ca/ \n\nAbout Kris \nBorn and raised in Prince George\, Kris was deeply embedded in our community\, both through his passion for cycling and his financial management business. Tragically\, Kris’s untimely passing on January 18\, 2023\, was sudden and unexpected\, a result of advanced coronary artery disease. Despite being an elite athlete\, he faced an invisible enemy with no warning signs. The mission is to ensure that Kris’s legacy shines on\, raising awareness about heart disease and reminding everyone that it can affect anyone\, regardless of their fitness level. \nThis event has a dual purpose: fostering community ties via cycling and amplifying the significance of heart health care in Northern BC. \nPlease consider donating to the Kris Yip Memorial Fund through the Prince George Community Foundation.

SUMMARY:World Tuesday Night Championships (WTNC)
DESCRIPTION:WORLD TUESDAY NIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPS (WTNC) ARE BACK! \nThis year’s events take place at UBC every Tuesday\, between May 6th and August 26th. These events are sanctioned as a Grassroots 100-plus event\, so your race results can contribute to a subjective upgrade request. Our events are weather-dependent; please check our Facebook page or email for updates on the day. If more than three events are rained out\, we will issue a $15 refund for each additional rain-out. \nAll athletes\, including those who buy a SEASON’S PASS before May 5th\, must check in between 5:30 pm and no later than 15 minutes before their race start. The first wave of racing begins shortly after 6:00 pm. \nAs a grassroots event\, you can self-seed\, but we encourage the following matrix:\nGROUP A = Cat 1/2 Men\, Cat 1/2/3 Women\nGROUP B = Cat 3 Men\, and Cat 4/5 Women\nGROUP C = Cat 4 Men\nGROUP D = Cat 5 Men\nGENTLEMEN OF LIESURE = Cat 3\,4\,5 Master’s Men \nVisit Escape Velocity’s website for more information at https://www.escapevelocity.bc.ca/events-1
