DESCRIPTION:WORLD TUESDAY NIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPS (WTNC) ARE BACK! \nThis year’s events take place at UBC every Tuesday\, between May 6th and August 26th. These events are sanctioned as a Grassroots 100-plus event\, so your race results can contribute to a subjective upgrade request. Our events are weather-dependent; please check our Facebook page or email for updates on the day. Please bring your chip tag or purchase one for $5 using this system. \nFor season pass holders\, we guarantee a minimum of 12 of 15 scheduled events. If more than three events are rained out\, we will issue a $15 refund for each additional rain-out. \nAll athletes\, including those who buy a SEASON’S PASS before May 5th\, must check in between 5:30 pm and no later than 15 minutes before their race start. The event is the continuation of over 20 years of hosting bicycle race events in Victoria\, BC. DESCRIPTION:The Seymour Challenge is Escape Velocity Cycling Club’s main fundraiser for the DEVO Youth Cycling program. This race is a hill climb that starts at the base of Mt. Seymour Road and climbs all the way to the top! This is a ‘celebration of cycling’ suitable for all ages and abilities!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Mount Seymour climb is 13.1 km long. You gain 904 height meters\, so the average gradient is 6.9 %. The climb is ranked 2179 in the world. The maximum slope is 16%. We climb up from the road starting at the intersection near the Old Buck Parking Lot.
