SUMMARY:Canadian Enduro Series: Big White
DESCRIPTION:The NORCO CANADIAN ENDURO SERIES Presented by LEATT has quickly become the flagship Enduro series in Canada and the preeminent Enduro series in North America. With past events in BC\, AB\, ON\, and QC\, the Series represents a solid Canadian competitive stage for athletes focusing on the Enduro discipline to garner serious mileage\, while using this series as a stepping stone to the EWS. With the returning title sponsor in Norco\, and a new presenting sponsor in Leatt for 2022\, the series will take huge strides post-pandemic to grow Enduro racing across the country. \nFor 2022\, the focus of the NCES will be once again; expert riders\, technically and physically demanding stages\, BIG days\, with some new exciting venues thrown into the mix. With the current covid issues across the country\, it will take us until 2023 to spread our wings back across the country\, but for 2022 we will have a true “Island to Rockies” west coast series that will have amazing resort locations and even better racing opportunities. \nWith an unprecedented $21\,500 in total prize money for the 2022 Series\, combined with lower entry fees for all participants\, this next season will be like nothing ever witnessed before in the Canadian Enduro racing scene! \n  \n width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen">

SUMMARY:School of Hard Knox Cyclocross (BCICX)
DESCRIPTION:Cyclocross returns to Kelowna for 2023! More info and rider guidelines available at www.bcinteriorcross.ca.\nEuropean road cyclists in the early 1900s used to race each other to the next town over through farmers’ fields\, over dirt roads\, ditches\, hedges\, probably livestock… Forced portage sections helped exercise other muscle groups and improved circulation in the cold off-season months. \nCyclocross is now the second most popular road cycling discipline\, sweeping across Europe and now North America. Modern cyclocross races consist of many laps of a several-kilometer course featuring everything from pavement to trails to ankle-deep (and sometimes deeper) mud\, with steep hills\, staircases and barriers requiring riders to dismount\, carry the bike over\, around or through the obstacle\, and remount to continue riding. \nFounded by Catharine Pendrel in 2010\, BC Interior Cyclocross brings races to some of BC’s most beautiful cities and towns.
