Staged on the opening weekend of Crankworx\, this is one of the biggest events of the festival\, attracting elite downhill experts from around the world. Pro\, aspiring and amateur racers\, claim your spot at the start gate. Fans\, grab your spot on track and get ready to take in the speed and skill of some of the world’s fastest. \nStarted in: 2007\nFirst pro winners: Fabien Barel (FRA) and Tracy Moseley (GBR)\n2025 pro winners: Mille Johnset (NOR) and Luke Meier-Smith (AUS)\nWhistler Bike Park trail: Canadian Open \nOG CDN OPN DH Location: Whistler Mountain Bike Park – Spectators with a bike and a Whistler Bike Park lift ticket can catch some of the action by riding down adjacent trails to view races. Spectators without a bike can catch the finish line in Skiers Plaza in Whistler Village.
