DESCRIPTION:The 2025 BC Provincial Downhill (DH) Championships will be hosted in combination with the Big White BC Cup race on Sunday\, August 24\, 2025. \nJoin us at @bikebigwhite for the Big White BC Cup  & BC Provincial Downhill Championships\, taking place from August 22nd to August 24th and end the season by taking on our bone-rattling Catapult Ranch race course. The race will feature all standard BC Cup categories\, including unlicensed ‘open’ and non-championship categories. All racers welcome – see you out there. \nTo qualify for a provincial championship\, riders must have either a BC Provincial Race licence or a UCI Race licence and must be a resident of BC. Get your 2025 Cycling BC licence today. \nPlease review the Event Technical Guide before registering. \nRegister by August 20th at 11:59 a.m. All registrations must be completed online. No late registrations. \n\nVolunteers Needed – Be a part of the behind-the-scenes action and help make this event a success; a front-row seat to the action is guaranteed as a course marshal. Course marshalling at a downhill bike event is a vital role that puts you at the center of the action. Positioned on the mountainside\, you ensure the safety of both riders and spectators. As a course marshal\, you’re more than just an observer—you’re crucial to the race’s success. Your responsibilities include signalling to riders\, coordinating with the event team\, and keeping the course clear. All volunteers receive an event t-shirt\, lunch\, and a complimentary Bike Park Ticket.

This exciting cycling event features a one-day competition in Surrey\, British Columbia. \nThese events are possible thanks to our volunteers\, our partners and sponsors\, and your athletic commitment to the sport of cycling. We will compete on the ancestral and unceded territories of the Salish Peoples\, including the qic̓əy (Katzie)\, q̓ʷɑ:n̓ƛən (Kwantlen)\, and Semiahmoo (Semiahma) land-based nations. \nSince 1985\, Action BMX has served as a platform for grassroots BMX racing in the Lower Mainland area. Unlike almost any other race in Canada\, there are no adult categories – this is all about the future! It is our hope that their experiences in this event will have a positive\, lasting impact on their lives. \nRegistration is now open for the 3-Day Hayman Classic Youth Stage Race. This 2024 edition is shaping up to be our best yet. \nThe 2024 Edition will include the categories: U15\, U17 and U19 male and female racers. The category age is as of December 31\, 2024. \nThe Criterium and Road Race will double as the 2024 BC Championships for U17 & U19 riders. U17 riders must race in the U19 category for the U17 BC Championships.\n\nAs a stage race\, the final standings will be based on accumulated time. Special rules will ensure riders are not penalized with elimination for unfortunate mishaps. Prizes will be awarded for stages and final GC. \nRacing starts Friday with an uphill time trial followed by the Area 27 road race. General Classification is based on accumulated time and is open to licensed riders between the ages of 13 and 18. Race categories include U19 male and female\, and ability-based categories for younger and newer riders. \nAnyone unsure of the category best suited to them can rest assured they can change categories at the May 23rd Rider Meeting/Number Pickup\, and even after the hill climb. A Banquet-Awards Night is included with registration. \nAdditional banquet tickets are available at registration site for family and team support. \nVisit the Hayman Classic website for more information. SUMMARY:The Agency Cycling Festival | BC Criterium Championships
DESCRIPTION:View Time Trial Results \nView Road Race Results \nView Omnium Results \nTech guide and event information\n  \nThe AGENCY CYCLING FESTIVAL  celebrates the bicycle in the areas sport\, arts\, and culture.  Bicycle Racing Action will draw hundreds of participants and thousands of spectators in a 3 day stage race featuring the disciplines of Time Trial\, Road Race\, and Criterium.  The North Saanich Time Trial features a 6km technical circuit where racers will be limited to using conventional road bikes in order to level the playing field.   The Road Race is the iconic Metchosin Course that has hosted past BC and National Championships and is considered one of the most difficult race courses in BC.  The 2022 event marks the return of the BC Criterium Championships\, which will feature thrilling downtown racing around the BC Legislature. \nElite Men/Women\, U19\, and Masters are required to register and start in all 3 races in order to score Omnium Points.  Each race awards points to the top finishers\, where the athlete who has accumulated the most points awarded as Series Champion.  Racers may elect to race any one or two events\, however\, no omnium points will be awarded in this casse. \nUnlicensed Racers may only register in the Time Trial and will be required to purchase 1 day insurance. \nThe event is the continuation of over 20 years of hosting bicycle race events in Victoria\, BC. Since 1992\, Victoria has hosted the 1994 Commonwealth Games Cycling events\, World Cup Track\, Provincial Road and Track Championships\, Bastion Square Grand Prix\, and Robert Cameron Law Cycling Series\, which have spearheaded the carriers of some of Canada’s best cyclists and Olympians.  The event is proudly supported by Cycling BC and Cycling Canada as a means to nurture and grow grass roots cycling\, engage with the community\, and act as a platform for the champions of the sport. \nJune 3 – North Saanich Time Trial 6:00pm to 8:00pm \nJune 4 – Metchosin Classic Road Race  7:30am to 2:00pm \nJune 5 – The Agency grand Prix – BC Crit Championships 8:00am to 2:00pm \nJune 5 – Cycling BC Hop on p/b iRide Expo 11:00am to 12:00pm

DESCRIPTION:Ridge Meadows’ BMX Provincial Championships is a single day\, age-based championship event sanctioned by Cycling BC and is run according to the applicable Union Cycliste International (UCI) and Cycling Canada (CC) regulations. The event is being held at Ridge Meadows BMX in Pitt Meadows on May 28th\, 2022. Winners will be determined based on their results during the event. \nEligibility\nAll athletes must have a Cycling BC Race License \n\nUCI Racing Licence\nBC Provincial Race Licence\nSingle Event Licence are not available for this event\n\nEvent Regulations\nThis event is sanctioned by Cycling BC and is run according to the applicable Union Cycliste International (UCI) and Cycling Canada (CC) regulations. \n\nThis is an age group race (there are no class distinctions) to decide the Provincial Champions for each age group.\nRiders aged 12 and under must use flat pedals with no interlocking pedal-cleat system\nFull face helmets must be securely fastened\, and full finger gloves worn when ever the athlete is on the track\nPlates are mandatory to be on your bike whenever you are on the track\, this includes practice times.\nSince we expect many outside riders to this race\, we will not be enforcing the plate colour rule and you will be allowed to use your BMX Canada plate. DESCRIPTION:2021 PROVINCIAL TRACK CHAMPIONSHIPS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThrough the support of the Government of BC\, Cycling BC\, and our valued members\, we are able to welcome competitors\, their families\, friends\, and our community to the Burnaby Velodrome located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples –  hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nations. \nThank you for your interest in participating in the 2021 BC Provincial Track Championships. The Burnaby Velodrome Club is proud to host this event that has not been held at the BVC in several years and is the first provincial-level championship track event since the COVID-19 pandemic started. \n  \n \nMEDALS AND JERSEYS\nThere will be a BC Championship jersey presented to the winner of each age category in the selected BC Championship “jersey” events\, provided they meet the residency requirements\, above.
