All sessions are covered by Cycling BC’s insurance policy with Marsh Canada. \nWednesday programs are for young teens who are interested in further developing their skills on the trails. DESCRIPTION:The NIMBY Fifty is approximately 37 km in length\, boasting a lung busting 101 switchback long pristine single-track climb.  This is not a typical XC race. It is a technical marathon xc mountain bike race which means it is absolutely loaded with incredible single track. \nTo whet your appetite for all things Nimby we have put together a full course description page where you can read about and watch YouTube videos of key trail sections\, and download a map of the course. Be sure to check it out prior to registering. \nTrail fee proceeds go to the Pemberton Off-Road Cycling Association (PORCA) and are used toward local trail maintenance and improvement. Additional contributions from the race also go toward Pemberton Valley Search and Rescue (PVSAR). \nClick here for more race info and registration.

These races will also launch this year’s national series\, the BMX Canada Cup. \nThe BMX Canada Cup Series will offer a lineup of 7 races to the young and fast BMXers of Canada. The series will kick off in May\, and will travel to British Columbia\, Ontario\, and Alberta to finish in Calgary\, AB where the new Canada Cup overall Champions will be crowned. The Canada Cup was introduced in 2012 as a way to help bridge provincial competitions to the international stage\, and since has been an efficient tool in providing national competition to young riders\, which is propelling Canada to some of its best international results since BMX became an Olympic discipline in 2008. “The 2017 Canada Cup series will offer some great opportunities for young aspiring BMXers to compete against some of Canada’s best\,” said Josh Peacock\, the series coordinator for Cycling Canada. “The growth of the BMX Canada Cup series has been impressive over the last four years\, and we are counting on more young BMXers to join the series this year.
