SUMMARY:Fernie Femmduro
DESCRIPTION:Fernie Femmduro is where fierce meets fabulous. An enduro event designed for self-identifying women and non-binary riders who want to push their limits and have a damn good time doing it because being fast\, feminine and having fun don’t have to be mutually exclusive. Whether you’re launching the biggest drops or conquering your first technical feature\, badass looks different on everyone\, and we’re here for all of it. \nThe race stages wind through Mount Fernie Provincial Park\, showcasing the terrain that makes this place iconic. Fernie has a reputation for steep\, technical riding\, but here’s the thing: with this community behind you\, you’ll do things you didn’t think you could. We’re here to give you a boost\, both literally and figuratively. Choose between our Long Course for riders ready to push it\, or our Short Course for those building confidence and skills. \nBetween stages\, the energy is contagious. Social\, supportive\, and unapologetic. This is where you can be serious about your time splits and your mascara. Where pushing limits and having fun aren’t just compatible\, they’re the whole point. \nFernie Femmduro is brought to you by Anything Goes Event Series in collaboration with the Fernie Trails Alliance\, with local female riders leading the charge. Built by riders\, for riders\, this event celebrates everything we love about mountain biking in Fernie.

SUMMARY:Tripleshot CrossFondo 2026 p/b Hakai Energy Solutions
DESCRIPTION:Great news! The Tripleshot CrossFondo will be back in 2026 to celebrate its 10th year on Sunday\, Oct 18\, 2026. \nHave fun. Support youth. Get dirty.\nSunday\, October 18\, 2026\, 9 am \nVictoria’s ONLY mass participation off-road cycling event winds through flowy pine-needle trails and hairpin turns\, over hills\, roots and rocks\, past curious donkeys and horses\, and churns through chunky peanut butter mud and puddles. Oh\, and maybe a few hike-a-bike sections to keep it legit. \nFeaturing: The Highlands. Hartland Mountain Bike Park. Vancouver Island Tech Park. Francis King & Thetis Lake Regional Parks. Private property that owners are opening up for this one day. \nWorried about how much energy you’ll expend? We’ll keep you fuelled along the route! And when you’re done\, there will be food and bevvy to help you recharge! \nThis event is a fundraiser for the Tripleshot Cycling Club youth cycling program and will support the development of year-round training for 11-18 year olds who train hard and love to compete in cross\, road\, track and mountain bike at local\, provincial\, national and international levels. Since 2016\, thanks to the generous donations of the participants\, we have been able to donate $16\,500 of the funds raised to support the South Vancouver Island Nature Trail Society and the South Island Mountain Bike Society\, two hard-working not-for-profits that work to connect and build trail systems for all to enjoy. \nThank you to those who have donated to the Lindsay Burgess Legacy Fund to honour the seven-time Tripleshot CrossFondo rider. A new fund has been set up through the Victoria Foundation that will assist women so they can offer mentorship and coaching to young riders as Lindsay did. Please visit and share this link. \nWe respectfully enjoy\, as visitors\, the traditional territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ (Saanich) and lək̓ʷəŋən (Songhees) peoples of the Coast Salish Nation. We thank our hosts and honour their welcome and graciousness to those who enjoy the beauty of their land. \nView full event details at https://tripleshotcrossfondo.ca/ \n
