DESCRIPTION:The 2025 BC Provincial Downhill (DH) Championships will be hosted in combination with the Big White BC Cup race on Sunday\, August 24\, 2025. \nJoin us at @bikebigwhite for the Big White BC Cup  & BC Provincial Downhill Championships\, taking place from August 22nd to August 24th and end the season by taking on our bone-rattling Catapult Ranch race course. The race will feature all standard BC Cup categories\, including unlicensed ‘open’ and non-championship categories. All racers welcome – see you out there. \nTo qualify for a provincial championship\, riders must have either a BC Provincial Race licence or a UCI Race licence and must be a resident of BC. Get your 2025 Cycling BC licence today. \nPlease review the Event Technical Guide before registering. \nRegister by August 20th at 11:59 a.m. All registrations must be completed online. No late registrations. \n\nVolunteers Needed – Be a part of the behind-the-scenes action and help make this event a success; a front-row seat to the action is guaranteed as a course marshal. Course marshalling at a downhill bike event is a vital role that puts you at the center of the action. Positioned on the mountainside\, you ensure the safety of both riders and spectators. As a course marshal\, you’re more than just an observer—you’re crucial to the race’s success. Your responsibilities include signalling to riders\, coordinating with the event team\, and keeping the course clear. All volunteers receive an event t-shirt\, lunch\, and a complimentary Bike Park Ticket.

DESCRIPTION:Back again for 2026! \nThis event combines the Island Cup Finals and the 2026 BC Provincial Cross-country (XCO) Championships.  \nThe goal is to create a fun and inviting event for all participants by keeping the grassroots feel of the Island Cup while also recognizing our top riders in the Province. \nFor more information and to register\, please visit https://islandcupseries.com/cross-country/ \n\nCross Country (XC) is a classic style of racing where the riders race side by side against each other. XC courses consist of a mix of single track trails\, and smooth fire roads. This includes long burning technical climbs and exciting descents. \nThe 2026 Island Cup Cross Country series consists of 7 events\, with the overall standings determined by the best 5 results.

DESCRIPTION:The Sea2Sky Gravel Fondo will take place in the District of Squamish on Sunday\, September 27th\, 2026\, and will also serve as the inaugural BC Provincial Gravel Championships!\nThe Sea2Sky Gravel Fondo is the premier Gravel Fondo in the Sea2Sky Corridor! Experience amazing mountain views\, large rivers\, creeks\, as well as wide gravel Forest Service Roads (FSR’s) + we like to throw in a few hills and trail sections to add to the fun gravel-riding factor. \n\nThe Sea2Sky Gravel Fondo \nFeatures 3 Distances for 2026: \nPiccolo / Beginner Fondo (Approx. 25km )\nStart and Finish in Squamish\nOptimal for beginner-level cyclists \nMedio Fondo (Approx. 50km )\nStart and Finish in Squamish\nOptimal for Beginner to intermediate-level cyclists \nFull Fondo (Approx. 85+km )\nStart and Finish in Squamish\nOptimal Intermediate to expert-level cyclist.  We could make the Sea2Sky Full Fondo even longer\, but given that it is late season\, we will have a maximum distance of around 85+KM.
