SUMMARY:Teams of BC Training Camp #2
DESCRIPTION:The camps are intended as a shared developmental program\, aimed at riders becoming more committed to track\, and to prepare for National Track Championships/Junior Worlds Trials in Milton\, March 30 – April 2nd.  Every accepted rider will be accommodated in team event training\, with a coach and team performance objectives\, through to nationals if they want.  Riders DO NOT need to commit to attending Nationals.  That said\, if the camps fill up\, priority will go to riders committing to the full series of camps.  Our view is that a focus on teammates and training together at the camps will motivate riders to train between camps\, whether for personal development\, or to perform in March. \nThis year there is a new opportunity to decide if you’re ready for Nationals\, by attending the Western Canadian Track Championships in Burnaby in February 24th to 26th. \nRiders should be U17 or U19\, with second year U15 riders if space allows. \nThere will be four training camps: Dec. 15-16\, Jan. 12-13\, Feb. 16-17 and Mar.23-24th.  The camp fee is $200 for all 4 camps. SUMMARY:River Road Road Race
DESCRIPTION:The long-standing Spring Series returns to the Lower Mainland! The series will consist of 12 road races\, including 4 Spring Classics. While many consider these “training” races for bigger events later on in the season\, the Spring Series consistently offers some of the hardest fought competition all year\, and the Classics will feature Master-friendly categories and some of Escape Velocity’s biggest\, bestest courses. These races are run regardless of the weather\, so dress accordingly and remember Rule #5. The one exception to the weather rule is snow. We do not race if there is snow on the road.
