It brings together developing riders\, elite athletes\, and international racers across a series of UCI‑sanctioned events held nationwide. \n​The Langford Bikefest also features grass-roots mountain bike racing by hosting the first race of the Island Cup XC series. The Island Cup race on Sunday\, March 15th\, is open to anyone to register. XC courses consist of a mix of single track trails\, and smooth fire roads.
