Cycling BC’s iRide program is designed to help young people gain confidence through sport-specific skills and explore the world of cycling with their friends.

Our game-based skills curriculum makes it easy for both kids and coaches to enjoy their cycling experience.

Thanks to our generous donors, school champions and NCCP coaches, iRide has helped over 45,000 children since 2013 and supported the growth of new youth cycling clubs across the province.

Getting Started:

Why does iRide exist?

iRide introduces families to the sport of cycling and makes cycling accessible to kids who may not otherwise have the opportunities to participate in the sport.

How does iRide work?

Our NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) coaches deliver in-school, after-school, spring/summer camps, and youth club programs that introduce kids to all types of cycling. Scroll down to watch our video or click here to learn more.

What time of year does iRide take place?

iRide programs are typically available from April to October and an indoor winter program is available in Vancouver. Cycling BC’s youth clubs operate during similar time periods.
