Head Coach: Andrei Oprea

Qualifications & Experience:

I left the bike and started running”. The mistake, although innocuous, inspired Andrei to start riding trials in the pursuit of skills development. At first it was pure passion, then it was the desire to go pro. After experiencing a lot on trial bikes and advancing to the top of the sport in his home country of Romania, he started riding dirt-jump bikes, enduro, downhill and freeride bicycles. As his passion grew, he also explored enduro motocross and moto trials.

Andrei Graduated from the college of physical education at Babes-Bolyai University in Romania. After college he worked as a ski instructor for 4 years at a local resort teaching kids of all ages and adults of different levels how to perfect their skiing.

“Seeing how someone can learn a new skill and improve is what gives me joy. I look forward to be doing this on bikes too”.
