YOUTH CYCLING CLUBS
Visit a local youth cycling group and try up to 3 sessions free of charge
If your child is interested in exploring bike riding in a friendly club setting there are many youth club opportunities across the province.
All Cycling BC-affiliated youth cycling clubs offer 3 free sessions to help new riders try out the club. A minimum ability level equivalent to iRide Level 5 is suggested before visiting with a youth club.
Each club also works with Cycling BC’s iRide program to organize Club Taster Pro Ride events to help welcome a group of new riders on the same day. All youth clubs are coached by NCCP-certified coaches and follow Cycling Canada‘s Long Term Athlete Development Model.
Each club offers a unique combination of services to best fit the needs of the community and sessions may focus on either one or multiple cycling disciplines. Rental equipment may be available for new riders. For more information, please use the below table to contact the club in your area or review this month’s upcoming club practices here.
