Update to Series Schedule – March 30, 2018: In coordination between the event organizer and Cycling BC, the Bear Mountain Russ Hays Short Track BC Premier Series race on April 1, 2018 has been removed from the BC Premier XCO Series Schedule and will not count towards BC Premier Series points due to low registration numbers in several categories.
*The Canada Cup is a separate series hosted in partnership between Cycling Canada, its provincial sport organizations and local organizing committee, the Canada Cup Cycling Series is sanctioned by the International Cycling Union (UCI).
The XCO BC Premier Series consists of a series of races featuring some of BC’s top cross-country mountain bike events.
Points are calculated from the results of each race and then riders are ranked in the series standings. Series points will be accumulative for all races with all available points contributing to the series standings.
Points for each race will be awarded to the top 75 finishers as per previous years points table for top 75 places ranging from 200 points – 1 point.
In the case of a tie, the highest-placed rider in the final race will be the overall series winner.
