La Bicicletta Pro Shop Donation To Help Get Kids Started In Cycling

In support of CyclingBC’s iRide program, La Bicicletta Pro Shop in Vancouver recently gifted over 350 water bottles and top-brand cycling kit valued at $12,000.

Clothing pieces range from Castelli custom garments, created for the 2009 Cervelo Test Team’s Tour de France campaign, to fun cycling kit for recreational riders. These kits are predominantly sized for youth and small adults however we also received enough large sizes for tall iRide participants. The collection also boasts a wide range of accessories including arm warmers, arm coolers and everything in between.

The water bottle gifts include Gran Fondo bottles as well as World Tour team branded items from professional teams from 2012. These bottles will be a great gift to participants as spring rolls into summer over the coming months.

The ongoing success of iRide, in our bid to excite students about cycling wouldn’t be possible without the support of companies like La Bicicletta Pro Shop. Thank for helping CyclingBC engage with youth and provide tools for a life-long enjoyment of cycling.
