Trek Red-Truck p/b Mosaic Homes all set for BC Superweek

Trek Red Truck Racing Team (TRT) is excited to announce its men’s and women’s team for Canada’s biggest cycling series – BC Superweek (July 8-17) at races in Delta, Burnaby, White Rock and the Global Relay Gastown Grand Prix in historic Gastown, Vancouver.

Last year, TRT raced their way to some outstanding results during BC Superweek, including Denise Ramsden lapping the field and taking top spot and the prize money in the prestigious Gastown Grand Prix. The women’s 2016 team includes: Canadian Olympian Denise Ramsden; stalwart and co-captain Leah Guloien; national junior champion Gillian Ellsay; and Sara Bergen, who is turning heads this season with her riding.

On the men’s side, TRT is led by veteran and former Canadian cyclocross champion & pro Craig Richey and Cyclocross National U23 champion Michael van den Ham. Dylan Davies and Kyle Buckosky both have also brought impressive performances and will be looking for strong results.

“BC Superweek, right in our own backyard, is when and where we want to shine and show our stuff,” says Team Director Steve Engh. “It’s a fantastic week and it gives us a chance to see how we measure up against some of North America’s top cycling talent.
