Western Challenge Brings National-level Track Cycling to BC

The inaugural Western Challenge kicks off in three weeks, February 24-25th at the Burnaby Velodrome. Come out and cheer your local athletes on as they compete in Western Canada’s only nationally sanctioned track race! A celebration of cycling, the event will feature two nights of racing with on-site food, a beer garden, and music. Saturday will also feature a kiddie kilo, suitable for children of all ages, so dust off the run bike and get your kids out of the house.

Registration is now open for athletes. On-site registration will not be available, so make sure you register before the deadline of February 21st. The race will feature a mixture of sprint and endurance racing for U15, U17, U19, Elite, and Masters riders.

Schedules, registration, and spectator information can be found here.
