All athletes who wish to be subjectively considered for selection to the Canmore Recon/Missoula project and Nationals must submit an expression of interest by May 27th at 4 pm. A letter of interest does not guarantee you a spot on the project, and an offer to one project does not guarantee you a spot on both.
In your letter please be sure to include a brief outline of your top 2016 results, along with why/how this project will be beneficial to your development as an athlete.
Letters of interest must be sent to tara@cyclingbc.net by 4:00 pm, Saturday, May 27, 2017.

June 5th: Arrive in Canmore
June 6th: Canmore Recon
June 7th: Canmore Recon
June 8th: Arrive Missoula
June 9th: Missoula Recon
June 10th: Missoula Recon
June 11th: Missoula Race
June 12th: Canmore arrival
June 13th: Canmore recon
June 14th: Depart for North Vancouver
July 18th: Arrive Canmore at Bear Hostel
19th: Course Recon
20th: Course Recon
21st: Course Recon
22nd: XCO
23rd: XC Relay
24th: Departure to North Vancouver
Please note that athletes must pay a small project fee between $150-$200 for their participation in each project (for a total of $300-$400 for both projects) which covers:
- Accommodation
- Some race day snacks and water
- Ground transportation
- Provincial team clothing
- Coaching and support staff
The project fee DOES NOT cover personal expenses, meals, race and recovery food, race registration, etc. Athletes are required to register themselves under CYCLING BC.
