It is with mixed emotions that I’m writing to let you know that Vanessa Kroeker, our intrepid Communications Director, is leaving us, effective today.
Vanessa has been an integral part of the Cycling BC Team for 3 ½ years – her contributions are too many to name; most significantly, Vanessa has worked tirelessly to produce our weekly newsletter, update our website and social media, and ensure that the great things happening throughout the Cycling BC community are visible and celebrated.
Vanessa is moving on to work as Communications Director with the Urban Native Youth Association, to support the organization’s work with Vancouver’s Indigenous youth. Please join me in wishing Vanessa the very best as she faces this new challenge.
In the meantime, we are in the final stages of finding someone to fill Vanessa’s shoes. I hope you’ll be patient with us as there will likely be some service gaps in the interim.
