In the spirit of Pink Shirt Day and #EraseBullying in sport, Cycling BC is proud to introduce a limited edition PINK Cycling BC jersey by JAKROO Custom Apparel. Cyclists can now show their support and promote positive sport culture throughout the year by wearing a pink Cycling BC jersey while riding their bikes.
The jersey will retail for $75 and will be available for purchase through Cycling BC. Net proceeds will go to Pink Shirt Day/Anti-bullying initiatives and youth cycling programs.
Clubs interested in group orders of 20 or more can have their club logo printed on the jersey. We are also considering choosing a warm weather day in the spring/summer when we will collectively put on our pink Cycling BC jerseys and go for a ride to #Erasebullying (to be confirmed).

Pink Shirt Day was originated by two Nova Scotia students, David Shepherd and Travis Price, who in 2007 bought and distributed 50 pink shirts after a fellow student at their school was bullied for wearing a pink shirt during the first day of school. Since then, Pink Shirt Day has been adopted and celebrated across Canada as well as other parts of the world. Pink shirts have become a symbol of support for anti-bullying and spreading the message of kindness.
The #ERASEbullying in sports campaign was first launched on Pink Shirt Day in 2017 where provincial sport organizations were invited to come together to celebrate the Province’s first Declaration of Commitment to erase bullying in sport throughout B.C.
