8th Annual Rotary Ride for Rescue

The 8th Annual Rotary Ride for Rescue benefitting North Shore Rescue and Rotary Humanitarian Projects will take place on June 9, 2018.

100% of the funds raised through pledges and rider registrations will support North Shore Rescue and other Rotary humanitarian projects. North Shore Rescue offers a variety of search and rescue services at no charge including mountain search and rescue; helicopter rescue; and public education.

Rotary International is a global network of 1.2 million dedicated business and professional people who provide community and international service and help to build goodwill and peace in the world.

Cypress Mountain Hill Climb: A timed Bike Challenge for Recreational and Competitive Riders

Participants will ride up Cypress Mountain beginning at the junction of Cypress Bowl Road and Cypress Lane and finishing at the Cypress Mountain Lodge. Again this year there will be two rides, one on the 17 km road (course map) and another on the 11 km BLT mountain bike trail, a medium grade logging road with some steep sections, (course map). After the Ride
Join family and friends for an Event Expo and a free pancake breakfast at Cypress Mountain Lodge from 9:30 until 11:30 am. You will have an opportunity to speak with North Shore Rescue volunteers and inspect their vehicles and rescue equipment. You can also enjoy a massage or get official individual and team photos taken.
