Exciting News! The Cycling BC Office is Moving

We have some exciting news to share! Cycling BC will be moving its office to the Eastlake Campus office and industrial development in the Lake City business area of Burnaby. After being in the current Cycling BC office at the rear of the Vancouver MEC store on West Broadway for the past four years, a move was anticipated to happen in light of MEC’s announcement that it will be relocating its flagship store to a brand new development in the Olympic Village area of Vancouver’s False Creek neighbourhood.

“Cycling BC is extremely grateful to MEC for their support and generosity in providing our organization with office space for the past several years,” said Cycling BC’s Executive Director, Erin Waugh. “Our agreement with MEC was only supposed to last for a couple of years but their development timeline for the new store was extended so we are fortunate that we have been able to stay for as long as we have.”

The move to the new office in Burnaby is a welcome change and provides a catalyst for Cycling BC to continue to grow and create more stability for the organization.

The official address of the new Cycling BC office is #116 – 8337 Eastlake Drive, Burnaby, BC, V5A 4W2. The office is close to public transit, walking, hiking, mountain biking trails, and is along a major urban bike route. The Eastlake Campus was built by Adera Development Corporation who also happens to be a long-time supporter of Cycling BC and building communities with sustainability in mind. Other cycling-related neighbours on the property include Race Face Performance Products, a designer and manufacturer of cycling components, clothing, and protective gear.

Cycling BC will be physically moving throughout the month of April 2019 and while we expect to be operational during the move we appreciate your patience while we relocate our office. You can still communicate with us via telephone or e-mail as usual. If you are planning a visit to the old or new office in-person, we encourage you to call first to find out where we are.
