Gravel racing returns this April to the epic gravel pathways of Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge, BC. On April 26th, Rock the Ridge Vol 2 will take place on the scenic dyke network in the region including a new section of gravel added to this year’s event.

“We are very excited about this year’s Rock the Ridge. Last year we ran it as a test event with great success and are now ready to grow the race,” comments race organizer, Barry Lyster.

The location and course layout make this perfect not only for the competitive racer but also for first-time gravel enthusiasts. The course will be well-marked and includes full traffic marshalling along with chip timing results. Cash and prizes will be up for grabs in the Open 80km race and the Open Youth 50km race.

Early bird pricing of $40 for the 50km race and $50 for the 80km is in effect until February 15th.

Also, on tap will be the 13th annual Jeremy’s Roubaix on April 12th. This highly competitive race will once again take place on the roads and dykes in Pitt Meadows. This year’s race will be part of Cycling BC’s BC Cup Road series. Early bird pricing is also in effect.
