This past Sunday, May 17th, would have been the first BC Provincial Championships of 2020 as the Surrey Off Road Cycling Enthusiasts (SORCE) bike club was scheduled to host the Junkyard Dog XCO race at the South Surrey Bike Park – but this race like many sporting events around the world had been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite not having any racing to look forward to on the BC calendar in the immediate future, U17 Men’s 2019 XCO Provincial Champion, Lief Rodgers, from Port Moody, BC, remains focused on his bike and continues to make ‘Progress without Podiums’…
