National Coaches Week 2020

National Coaches Week celebrates the positive impact coaches have on athletes, participants, and communities across Canada. This week is an opportunity to recognize coaches for the integral role they play by saying #ThanksCoach.

With virtual activities held across the country to celebrate coaching, National Coaches Week provides coaches with the recognition they deserve for the time they devote to ensuring Canadians live an active, healthy lifestyle.

Please join us in saying #ThanksCoach whether it’s on social media, a video message, text, or even a phone call, there are many ways to say #ThanksCoach for the positive impact coaches make on our lives and the important contributions they make to the quality of life in Canada.

Interested in becoming a coach? The Coaching Association of Canada is offering the NCCP Coach Initiation in Sport eLearning module for FREE during National Coaches Week (September 19-27, 2020). This module introduces new and experience coaches to the foundational skills of coaching, such as long-term athlete development, ethics, coaching motivation, and athlete safety and wellness.
