Tour de France’s amateur cycling series is on its way to Canada in August next year
Edmonton is set to bring another world class sporting event to town in August 2022. In collaboration with MB Events and Amaury Sport Organization (A.S.O), Edmonton will host L’Étape Canada by Tour de France on August 14, 2022. L’Étape by Tour de France brings authentic Tour de France-style amateur races across the world, with 26 events globally next year. This event is the only confirmed Tour de France-branded event in Canada next year.

L’Étape Canada by Tour de France will offer a variety of routes and activities to cycling enthusiasts of all ages. The main race will be a century ride (160 km), designed by Tour de France course experts—with professional time tracking on fully closed or semi-closed roads—for the ultimate Tour de France experience.
