Global Relay Bridge the Gap Announces New Scholarship Program

Global Relay Bridge the Gap (GRBTG) is happy to partner with former Canadian National Road Champion and entrepreneur Alison Testroete to provide three aspiring Canadian cyclists with scholarships to her new Athletes to Enterprise (A2E) program.

This course teaches athletes how to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and find ways to build financial stability while meeting their sporting goals. A2E is for ambitious amateur, elite, and professional athletes who want to use the power of sport to build a meaningful and profitable personal brand.

Since 2012, Global Relay Bridge the Gap’s purpose has been to help young cyclists reach the pinnacle of professional cycling.

“We are in a very uncertain environment for young Canadian cyclists right now. We feel the Athlete to Enterprise program will teach riders skills they can leverage to thrive in pursuit of careers on or off the bike. Alison’s experience as a rider in both North America and Europe along with her business experience provides her with a fantastic background to teach this unique program. We are excited to partner with her to support the next generation of Canadian pro cyclists.” – Andrew Pinfold, Managing Director GRBTG

The 6-module course will take place remotely and begin the week of Oct 25th. Any Canadian elite cyclist aged 19-25 (men), 19-29 (women) whose ambition is to turn professional is encouraged to apply by Sept 25th by clicking here.
