Cycling BC Offers UCI Licence at Reduced Price for Balance of 2021 Season

Cycling BC is pleased to announce that it will be offering all 2021 Adult UCI Race Licences at a reduced price starting on September 1, 2021, until the end of the calendar year. UCI Race Licences for those 17 years of age and older will be reduced to $120, the same price as the Adult Provincial Race Licence, and will be valid until December 31, 2021.

Cycling BC members who already possess a 2021 Cycling for All Licence will be able to upgrade to a UCI Race Licence and will only be charged the price difference at checkout. Members who have a current Provincial Race Licence will be able to upgrade to the UCI Race Licence at no extra charge.

UCI Race Licences are required for racing in international and nationally sanctioned events such as Canada Cups or National Championship races across all cycling disciplines. With this year’s Canadian National Cyclocross Championships scheduled for the weekend of November 27th-28th at Bear Mountain near Langford, BC, this will give cyclocross riders planning to race in the championship categories an opportunity to purchase a 2021 UCI Licence at a reduced price given that it is very late in the year and will be the last national championships on the 2021 calendar.

All Cycling BC membership licences are valid to December 31, 2021, and include Ride Accident Insurance protection covering injuries sustained while cycling in Canada or the US, and General Liability Insurance while participating in sanctioned cycling events.

Cycling BC membership licences can be purchased online by going directly to the CCN registration system or by visiting the Cycling BC membership page at cyclingbc.net.
