Cycling BC Staff Update | Cory Ostertag

It is with mixed emotions that I announce the resignation of Cory Ostertag from his position as Operations Manager at Cycling BC. Cory has accepted a new and exciting opportunity within the cycling industry and while we are sad to see him go, we are thrilled to see him grow and start a new chapter in his career.

Cory has been an integral member of Cycling BC since he first joined the organization in March 2018, taking on various roles—most recently as Operations Manager—often going over and above the expectations of his position. We thank him for his many contributions to the organization and the cycling community, particularly for being a stalwart for integrity and fairness in sport. Cory’s last day with Cycling BC will be Thursday, May 19, 2022.

Moving forward, our leadership team will be deciding on the next steps for a transition plan and using this opportunity to address the Cycling BC community’s needs in relation to this role. We are entering the busiest point in our events season and remain committed to supporting our members and stakeholders as best as we can during this transition. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to membership@cyclingbc.net or call 604-737-3034 and we will connect you to the appropriate member of our team that can help you.

On behalf of everyone at Cycling BC, please join us in congratulating Cory and wishing him the very best in the future. Please let him know how much he will be missed.

Sincerely,

Erin Waugh
CEO
