Volunteers Needed at the Tour de Concord on June 30th

Cycling BC is in need of volunteers for the Tour de Concord Vancouver Criterium Race and Free Family Bike Festival on Thursday, June 30th, and we are calling on our community to help out. There will be a variety of areas in need of help but the biggest need will be for setting up fencing before the event, placing banners on fences, tear-down after the event, and crowd control at crosswalks.

Date: Thursday, June 30, 2022
Event hours: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Volunteer hours may differ as we will need help with set-up and tear-down before/after the event.
Location: Concord Pacific Place, 88 Pacific Blvd, Vancouver, BC

With the help of M1 Sports Management who has led the way for other top-notch events such as BC Superweek, the Tour de Concord Vancouver will not only feature a criterium bike race but also includes a free family bike festival with a Cycling BC HopOn cycling zone for kids, DJ entertainment, a beer garden, bbq, prize draws, vendors, bike demos, free tune-ups, and more.

This event is hosted by Concord Pacific in celebration of cycling culture and in support of Cycling BC’s youth development programs for aspiring young cyclists.

Volunteers are essential to the success of the event and we are counting on the cycling community to help make it happen! Be uniquely part of something special this summer and enjoy the experience as a volunteer!
