DESCRIPTION:The RIVER CITY CYCLE CLUB is excited to introduce Snowden 2.0! Since our last Island Cup race 3 years ago\, we’ve been busy adding fun features & flow all over the place!  The perfect balance of tech & flow on undulating forested single-track will put a smile on your face! The 9.5km course will consist of 20-30min short laps featuring our newest trail; Rotary Rock & Roll!\n\nNew for 2023\, the Island Cup is awarding DOUBLE POINTS for the final race in\nCampbell River making it the most important race of the series (in our opinion)!\nDuring the race\, we encourage spectators to bring noisemakers & cheer on the participants as they blaze through the Lost Lake lot.

It is unique and challenging\, an unforgettable trail running/riding experience. \n  \nCourse Description\nThe 50 k is an intermediate level two loop bike/run course comprising some road and mainly single track trails. Including Grilled Cheese\, Mudhoney Pass\, Lost Lake\, Riley Lake\, Lookout Loop and Frog Legs.\n\nThe 50 k distance can be a solo trail run\, solo mountain bike\, or mountain bike relay\, run relay or combination run/bike relay.\n\nThe 25k is an intermediate level single loop bike or run course comprising some road and mainly single track trails. Including Grilled Cheese\, Mudhoney Pass\, Lost Lake\, Riley Lake\, Lookout Loop and Frog Legs.\n\nThe 14k is a beginner trail run on road and single track trail on the Lost Frog Loop. Nice flowing trails with some hills\, great for a first trail run.\n\nKids 1k Fun Run\, free! Register  on the morning of the race.
