Looking for opportunities for your child to advance their cycling skills this spring? Cycling BC’s iRide program is now offering a wide variety of opportunities for youth to keep developing their skills, riding faster and further than ever before.
New for this year, iRide features 2 different styles of after-school program.
iRide After-School
A 3-day program that immediately follows any 3-day in-school program. If students had fun with their iRide coaches, they can return after school for a more comprehensive session, lasting 60-90 minutes. These sessions provide opportunities for a maximum of 20 students* to participate in a program with more challenges, more games and a bicycle ride in the local area. Sessions run from approximately 3.15 pm – 5.00 pm, depending upon the school bell schedule and designated start time. iRide After-School costs $15 per student –only $5 per day.
iRide Advance
A 4-6 week community-based program run out of a local park or school ground. This style of event is perfect for communities that do not have capacity for in-school programs. iRide Advance provides access to a safe, fun and exciting multi-week program for students from across the community. Each week, students will have the opportunity to work with our engaging, NCCP-certified coaching staff. Sessions run for one hour each week, providing opportunities to develop skills and practice at home in between sessions. There is no pre-requisite to join us! This program is designed to provide a high-quality experience with a 1-10 coach-student ratio and a maximum of 40 riders per event*. Ride Advance costs $20 per student, only $5 per day**.
