Cycling BC is pleased to announce the Road, Para, and Mountain Bike Cross-country (XC) athlete selection criteria for the St. John’s 2025 Canada Summer Games from August 8-25, 2025, in Newfoundland and Labrador. The Canada Games, held every two years alternating between summer and winter, is Canada’s largest multi-sport event and are similar to a mini-Olympics for Canada.
The Canada Games are designed for the country’s young athletes and play a prominent role in high-performance athletic development. All ten provinces and three territories of Canada participate in the games by selecting and sending athletes to represent their respective provinces or territories in a variety of sports, including cycling.
In 2025, the Canada Summer Games will host cycling events such as a Road Race, Criterium, Time Trial, and Cross-country Mountain Bike. Now is the time for Cycling BC to assemble the best in our sport to represent Team BC.
The following documents will serve as the selection criteria for the teams that will represent Team BC in Cycling at the 2025 Canada Summer Games.
