The 2025 BC Provincial Track Cycling Championships, hosted by the Greater Victoria Velodrome Association, from August 15th – 17th at the Westhore Velodrome, brought together track talent of all ages for a weekend of sprints and endurance-testing races. The event not only showcased BC’s athletic talent on the velodrome but also the spirit of community and camaraderie of our track cyclists.

The 2025 Track Cycling Provincial Championships were more than just a competition; it was an opportunity to build and celebrate the sport of track cycling, especially during a time when the sport faces significant challenges in BC, such as the uncertain future of the Burnaby Velodrome indoor track. Cycling BC wants to emphasize the importance of supporting our tracks and the grassroots levels of a sport that is often overshadowed by more mainstream ones, ensuring that track cycling remains vibrant for future generations in BC.
Our local velodromes serve as the foundation of track cycling and are essential for skill development, hosting events, and building community.
