Memo from Cycling Canada
The deadline to register a UCI Mountain Bike Team for 2026 is November 15, 2025.
To register a team, please read carefully:
1. Notify Cycling Canada that you intend to register a team in 2026
- Returning teams should notify Cycling Canada as soon as possible so that we can ensure all requirements are met and are validated on time
- New teams should notify Cycling Canada as soon as possible (no later than October 27) so that we can notify the UCI of your intent. Please include your team name, primary contact person, and their email address.
2. Cycling Canada will notify the UCI of your intent (returning teams notify the UCI directly) and they will create a profile for you on DataRide, where you will upload team information. Once uploaded, cycling Canada will validate all items.

3. All individuals must complete the individual requirements as set out by cycling Canada. Click here to view. All individual requirements should be completed no later than November 4th. These can be submitted using a shared folder or another method as discussed with Cycling Canada.
4. Before the UCI deadline, pay the UCI fee directly via wire transfer. For 2026, this amount is 5’000 €. Please confirm all details with the UCI before sending the funds.
5. Once the registration is complete, Cycling Canada will invoice teams $850. If this is not duly paid, the team will not be considered to be in good standing.
