DESCRIPTION:Become a Race Official/Commissaire and be part of the action! \nCommissaires have the best seats in the house\, they get close to the action and the racers\, they help develop the next generation of cycling stars and enjoy great camaraderie. \n***REGISTER NOW***\nBMX – Level C – November 11\, 2018\nAbbotsford Exhibition Park – Legacy Sports Center Board Room\n32470 Haida Drive\, Abbotsford\, BC\n\n  \nRegistration fee – $25\nInstructor: Geordie Man\, UCI Commissaire\nTime: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.\nOpen to: Anyone 18+ \n\n\n\n\n  \nDescription: This one-day introductory course is for those looking to know more about the cycling officiating. The course will cover the rules\, teach you how to read a license\, handle registration\, provide information about start/finish procedures\, corner rules\, finish line procedure and much more. At the conclusion of the course\, you will have a greater understanding of the role of a commissaire\, increased knowledge of the BMX specific rules and understand how to progress through the ranks from a level C trainee to an international commissaire. \n\n\nNewly trained officials will be prepared to start participating in CBC’s mentorship program\, putting into practice the theory and skills learned at the course\, under the supervision of experienced commissaires to complete their level C certification.
