Registration fees have been reduced by 75% \nBasic Cycling Skills (all disciplines)\nThis 8-hour workshop provides coaches with the understanding and expertise required to instruct the 8 basic and 8 intermediate skills of cycling. Workshop material covers skill analysis\, observation\, and corrective feedback – all vital skills for coaches of both new and experienced cyclists looking to improve.  This course is part of both the Community Initiation stream and the Competition-Introduction stream. \nThe Ready to Race! Competition-Introduction coaching stream is structured as follows: Learn More\n\nTraining Basics (2-day course)\nBasic Cycling Skills (1-day course)\nTraining to Race (2-day course)\nSkills & Tactics (1-day course – complete 2 of 4 available disciplines (Road\, Track\, MTB\, BMX)\nEthical Decisions (Online Questionnaire)\nPortfolio (Submit Online)\nOnline Examination (specific to Skills & Tactics courses)\n\nEvent Details:\n\n\n\nLearning Facilitator:\nBen Chaddock\n\n\nProgram Cost:\n$85 -> Reduced to $20\n\n\nRegistration:\nRegister Here\n\n\nPayment:\nVia CCN Registration\n\n\nSpecial Requests:\nIf you would like to organize a special NCCP event in your community\, Cycling BC will travel to your area at our earliest availability. Community Initiation\nIdeal for parents\, volunteers\, teachers and others who occasionally work with youth or adults new to cycling\, this one day\, in-class workshop covers the basic principles of coaching including ethical decision making\, planning and organizing a practice\, cycling safety and risk management\, and introducing disabled riders to the sport. \nThis course is the minimum requirement for new coaches who would like to work with a local group or Cycling BC’s iRide program. As an alternative\, coaches can skip this course and instead enroll in the Ready to Race!
