SUMMARY:Youth Enduro Clinics
DESCRIPTION:Cycling BC November Youth Enduro Clinics\nThe bike parks are closing and the ski hills haven’t opened yet. That makes November a perfect month to sharpen your skills\, and Cycling BC is excited to make the most of it. \nThis November\, Cycling BC is running a youth enduro skills series on the North Shore\, led by two of the best riders in the country. \nWhen: Every Saturday in November (Nov 7\, 14\, 21 and 28)\, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm\nWhere: North Vancouver: Seymour and Fromme\nWho: Riders aged 14-16 who can confidently ride black trails (*age as of Dec 31\, 2026)\nCapacity: 8 riders\nCost: $40 per session\, or $130 for all four!\nMembership: Cycling BC Annual membership required \n<REGISTRATION LINK COMING SOON> \nWhat to expect\nEach session will start with focused skill work on the fundamentals for riding and racing: body position\, braking\, and cornering. After that\, the group will head out on a trail ride to use those skills to work\, along with sessioning features\, talking through line choices\, building fitness\, and having some fun. \nThere’s no race pressure. The aim is to ride better and ride more\, at a time of year when a lot of riders stop. \nMeet your coaches\nGeza Rodgers from Port Moody has raced almost every kind of bike there is: BMX\, cyclocross\, road\, track\, XC\, enduro and downhill. She’s a Canadian U21 Enduro Champion and Junior Downhill National Champion\, and she represented Canada at the 2024 Downhill World Championships. Her all-round background makes her an amazing coach for riders building their foundations. \n  \nElly Hoskin is the 2025 Enduro World Champion. The Squamish rider has won the Canadian Open Enduro at Crankworx Whistler three years in a row\, and she was a regular on Enduro World Cup podiums as a U21 rider before stepping up to Elite. She’s a great example of what consistency and hard work can do. \n\n\nDress for the weather\nIt’s November on the North Shore\, so expect rain. Dress warm and in layers\, and bring a waterproof jacket\, full-finger gloves and a dry change of clothes for after. A wet ride outside is always better than no ride at all. \nWhat to bring\n\nA mountain bike in good working order\, suited to black trails (please make sure your brake pads aren’t down to the metal)\nHelmet and knee pads – we’re not getting too sendy\nWater\, snacks\, and a spare tube or repair kit\n\nEligibility\nThe series is designed for riders aged 14-16 who are comfortable on black trails\, who are interested in\, or already\, racing. Riders slightly younger or older may be accepted\, depending on space. With only 8 spots\, we expect this to fill quickly.

Collectively\, the organizations represent a broad range of running\, cycling\, triathlon and multisport events\, from small community races to major provincial\, national and international events. The Conference brings together organizers who collectively deliver hundreds of events and engage hundreds of thousands of participants each year. \nThe Conference was created to help professionalize event delivery\, share practical knowledge and elevate the participant experience.
