This summer learn how to create your own website\, program a robot\, and edit a movie you filmed during your iRide bike sessions. \nEach day includes 3hrs of coding projects and 3hrs of cycling. All rental bike gear and computers are provided. Learn basic coding skills and explore new cycling disciplines like Mountain Biking\, BMX and the velodrome! Skills\, games and rides! Transport to cycling venues to arranged by Cycling BC. Bicycle storage is provided by Cycling BC. \nOpen to ages 9-11\, iRide Level 4-5\, boys & girls \nAll sessions are covered by Cycling BC’s insurance policy with Jones Brown. \nThis camp will include photograph and video collection to help participants create their own website and video content. SUMMARY:NCCP: Community Initiation
DESCRIPTION:Special Course:  Tuesday August 28th (8:30am – 12pm) + Thursday August 30th (8:30am – 12pm) \nCycling BC members under 19 can apply to receive free access to this course – email iride@cyclingbc.net \nREGISTER HERE\nThis course is the minimum requirement for new coaches who would like to work with their local cycling club or with Cycling BC’s iRide program. \nCommunity Initiation\nThis community initiation course is designed for coaches who will primarily work with novice\, pre-competitive cyclists at the community level\, including participants in the Active Start\, FUNdamentals and early Learn to Train stages of athlete development (outlined in Cycling Canada’s Long-Term Athlete Development Model). The program is simple\, based on a number of pre-designed lesson plans\, and adaptable to the varying skill and ability levels of participants.
