DESCRIPTION:CLICK HERE TO REGISTER\nDon’t miss the JunkYard Dog\, with beer\, pizza and custom photo included! Just gets better each year! \nThe JunkYard Dog was a decade favourite race on the BC Cup series and returns as the 2nd race of the 2016 BC XC Cup season. \nThe course has been extended by 1 km per lap\, about 7 km total. 6 km of forest single track per lap\, with log roll overs\, the just completed 93 ft long Fender Bender bridge\, Loop ‘n Chute\, the Dive Rock Garden. the Dog Leg bridge\, Over The Creek Plank\, our Beer Belly bridge\, Jayride A-frame\, wood wall ride\, drops . . . the list goes on! Fast and flowy with 3 pumptrack flow trails\, Dy-no-mite Roll\, Chainless and Jayride–and big smiles every lap. \nThe JunkYard Dog is more challenging and fun than ever before! All of the more challenging obstacles have an easy go around for those who don’t feel comfortable\, with only a slight time penalty. Extended 1 km start and passing zone per lap. \nCheck out the map here. \nOrganizers reserve the right to amend the course\, categories\, amenities and schedule. \nThe Start\n2 starts\, with staggered starts for categories within each start time. 0900 for Junior and Citizens classes. 1130 start for 20+ to Elite. \nFeed Stations\nSelf feeding\, but you’ll be riding by the beer garden twice on every lap so no excuses for not hydrating!  (Beer Garden opens at 11\, earlier if we can!) \nPrizes\nThere will be cash prizes for Elite Men and Women as per BC Cup criteria; 1st place 5x entry\, 2nd 4x entry\, 3rd 3x entry\, 4th 2x entry\, 5th 1x entry.\nPodium time for the 0900 race will be at 1200.  1130 race podium will be at approx 1330. \nSwag\, swag and more swag! Each registrant receives a swag raffle ticket. You must be present to win. \nBeer included!\nEach registrant of drinking age will recieve a ticket for 1 beer at the beer garden. But you’ll probably want an extra while you cheer your favourite racer as they ride by the beer garden twice per lap. U13-U17 $40.  Closes Friday\, April 22\, midnight.  Day of registration is available\, but please register online – gets a little crazy on race day! \nCycling BC Rider License / Insurance\nTo race in all categories EXCEPT; Citizen\, U13 or 20+\, you will need a 2016 UCI License. For Citizen\, U13 or 20+\, you will need a 2016 Cycling BC Provincial (Citizen) Race License\, or you can purchase a single event license for $10\, $12 for US residents. U13 for $5. \nAll riders must present their 2016 license or proof of purchase/email at the event. \nSingle event licenses are only valid for Canadian residents covered under a Federal or Provincial Hospital or Medical Plan. \nUS Residents must have a 2016 UCI License and sign a declaration that adequate out of country travel insurance has been obtained. If you meet these requirements\, you do not need to purchase a single event license. \nDay license purchasers under 19 MUST have a parent or guardian sign the Cycling BC release at registration in order to participate. \nNO REFUNDS\nEvent details are subject to change. \n\nXC BC Cup Series\n\nThis race is part of the 2016 XC BC Cup Series\, which features six of BC’s top mountain bike races. \nPoints are calculated from the results of each race and then riders are ranked in the series standings. To qualify for a final series standing\, riders must participate in a minimum of three races\, plus the series final on August 12th. Final series standings will be calculated from the best 3 out of the first 5 races\, plus finals. DESCRIPTION:SORCE Bike Club presents the Daryl Evans Racing JunkYard Cross presented by SORCE Bike Club at South Surrey Bike Park and proud to be part of the Cycling BC Premier Cyclocross Series. \nWe have included almost every type of terrain in the new 2 km + lap course. An uphill road start will take you onto the gravel by the water tower\, through the JunkYard Cross Village and past the Red Racer Beer Garden\, up and over the Double R Rental Bridge and onto the grass. As you pass around the water reservoir you will encounter off camber hills before you plummet back onto gravel and onto the BLTrail in the forest.  Scramble up the Drop Zone\, the steepest muddiest section and back onto gravel. A second pass of the beer garden\, (perhaps stop in on your way by) then back into 1km of forest single track before popping out onto the road climb. Reverse direction back down the hill while on the off camber swoppy grass then back up the hill on off camber grass along the perimeter of Softball City. We’ve got it all to challenge and entertain you . . . \nIncluded in your entrant fee\, a ticket for 1 slice of pizza from Papa Murphy’s Pizza on-site venue. Each entrant of drinking age will also receive a ticket for 1 beer at the Red Racer Beer garden.  But you’ll probably want an extra at $3 per while you cheer your favourite racer as they ride by the beer garden twice per lap.
