Remembering Nigel Thompson, Phoenix Velo member and iRide Coach

Phoenix Velo Cycling Club has organized a farewell ride for Nigel Thompson on March 13th from the Peardonville Hall, 29450 Huntington road in Abbotsford. Riders will meet at 2 pm for a roll out at 3 pm for a controlled 16 km with an option for a longer faster second half.

Potluck meal and reminiscing to follow.

We lost a great club member Monday night. Nigel Thompson was a club coach, an iRide coach, a Masters racer, race volunteer , GranFondo rider, husband, father and grandfather. He  touched so many people with his kindness and thoughtfulness.

Nigel will forever be a part of our iRide team. With his boundless energy, Nigel was able to create memorable sessions for countless number to children in 2015. Always one to push his riders and all of us coaches to be our best, he will be greatly missed. Thank you Nigel.
